First of all thanks for the fix, not sure why but the registry entry is slightly different to the addres you specified, none the less I managed to find it! i realy hope this works, its not only bf2 and 2142 it happens on its also civilisation IV and also UT3 is bugging about alot lots of simarla Black flat textures and ultimatly a grinding halt followed by a hard reset!

I will love you forever if this fixes my problem ! ! :D
