i have: 1 Gigaset SL560 base with 1 Gigaset A58H connected.
but trying connecting a Plantronics C65 DETC connects, but as a "phone" meaning, i have to transfer the call when it is established, meaning the Plantronics is NOT recognized as a headset, but as a phone.
have another constellation of gigasets and C65, doing the same at home.
any solution?
have to say, had originally the above constellation, and the headset was recognized as a headset, meaning, i called up on the gigaset handset, and when i wanted, just switched the C65 on, and the call was on that.
no transferring noting, just "taking the call" on the c65.
now i have 2, needing transferring the calls.

The best I can suggest, is making sure the batteries are fully charged and that you've confirmed that your base station PIN is 0000. If that's the case and the steps above don't work for your base station, you might well have to call the manufacturer. I'm so expert by any means, just sharing the experience I had with my own unit. Good luck!

Thank You! This was the best guidance I found on pairing a C565 Plantronics headset with a Siemans Gigaset SL400A. Without you, I would have spent hours on the phone to helpdesks.
